Rainbow Words
× End of Year Goal: Complete 1 Rainbow (48 words)

× To earn a new color, students must correctly READ


automatically (within 3 seconds) & WRITE their
current set of words. Opportunities to test words will
happen weekly.

× We have 3 Rainbows (144 words) created to


challenge students as needed.

× Learning sight words in this way helps students to


move at their own pace, be continuously
challenged, and build their confidence as a reader
and writer.
