Job Interview

Job interviews are a type of stage in work selection that


involves conversations between applicants / job seekers
(interviewee) and representatives of organizations (Interviewer)
that employ to see whether the prospective employee should
be hired or not.
Types Of Interview
1. One-on-one (most often used)
• Informal: Interviewer has a general idea of what will be
asked, but after first question, follows conversation
trend.
• Structured: Questions will be written out based on job
requirements, and will be asked of every candidate.
• Unstructured: After one or two questions, the interviewer
may sit back and wait for you to make the next move..
II. Group
you will meet with more than one person at a time

• Teamwork is important. They want to see how effective


you are as part of a group.
• Take it one question at a time
• Answer the person who asked the question. After finish

Job Promotions
• Promotion is an award with a get promoted in an
organization or institution both in government and non-
government (private).

• According to Husein (2003) someone who receives a promotion


must have good qualifications compared to the other
candidates.
Types of Promotion
• Temporary promotion is an employee who is temporarily raised because of the
vacant position that must be filled.
• Fixed promotion is an employee promoted from one position to a higher position
because the employee has fulfilled the requirements to be promoted. The nature of
this promotion is fixed.
• Small promotion is to raise the position of someone from an office that is not
difficult to move to a position that is difficult to ask for certain skills, but not
accompanied by an increase in authority, responsibility and salary.
• Dry promotion is an employee raised to a higher position accompanied by an
increase in rank, authority and responsibility but not accompanied by an increase in
salary or wages.
