 Paytm is the acronym for “Pay Through Mobile”.
 Paytm has 150 million wallets & 75 million app download(as of Nov. 2016).
 Idea of Paytm was given by Abhishek Rajan(employee of One97 comm.).
 Paytm is the only company to receive funding from world’s largest e-comm.

 Paytm received a license from Reserve Bank of India for starting India’s first
payments bank.

 In 2012, Paytm was awarded ‘THE MOST INNOVATIVE START-UP OF THE YEAR’.

 Launch of Subscription-based loyalty programme – Paytm First.


 The main aim of this programme is to increase customer retention.
 To subscribe the membership of this programme consumer has to pay
₹750 on yearly basis.
 Launch of Paytm Money which is about to start offering shares as it has
received approval for membership with BSE & NSE.
CONCLUSION
 Paytm is satisfying customers at a satisfactory level.
 Huge competition in the way to compete with.
 Paytm should localise more.
 Less cashback offers.
