BRIEF OF THE PROJECT

Taiwan International Project demands a formation of a product which holds empathy as its core value.
The entire project was to build a non existing product which shows Empathy and remains cost effective.
The basic requirement of the project was to build a prototype of the product and explain it in brief.

The project had various categories :

Product Design,
Visual Design,
Digital Animation, and
Brand Specified

Product Designing has been chosen as a topic of the project. A complete research has been done about
the topic Empathy and its impact on its products or how it has been interpreted in its previous projects.
After all the research a product has been developed which is working towards a general problem of the
users of public transportation and trying to resolve their personal issue at certain level.

A Portable Hand Holder is a product which
works as an extenstion of hand holders
provided in Public Transportation. The
product was developed due to less
availability of seats and hand holders which
is difficult to be used and it creates health
issues during long hours of travelling. After
the complete research, each and every
material of the product is being used by
taking in consideration all the problems
while travelling in public transportation. The
products resolve the issue of the users
having height issues, less availability of seats
and health issues such as neck pain and
muscle pull.

 Public transportation is a form of travel
offered locally that enables more people to
travel together along designated routes. LOCAL TRAIN
INDIAN METRO Typical examples of forms of public
transportation include buses, trains, and
trams. Most public transport services operate
on stipulated timelines. Some transportation
systems operate on a full capacity basis.

Primary Research consisted of a survey in the form of questionnaire, which showed the entire
requirements of the users of public transportation.
The questionnaire was done to find out :
1. The data of what percentage of population use public transportation,
2. The no of times they travel,
3. The modes of transportation &
4. The problems faced while travelling.

FINDINGS OF THE SECONDARY AND PRIMARY RESEARCH

After all the research the major issue in travelling was holding the rods/hand holders while standing, which
ultimately led into various health issues. A major concern in this is due to less availability of holders in different
modes of transportation as more number of people travel in public transportation than the availability of seats.
This led into creating a product which will solve the problem to some extent by making a PORTABLE HOLDER,
which not only works as a holder but also helps in health issues to a certain level.
