Let’s master the lesson with the
help of the following activities:
- Lights Camera Action (Proverbs)

- Pass the message version 2.0 (Riddles)

- Let’s sing a REMIX song ( Folksongs)

- Be the FILM DIRECTOR ( tales)


THE GENERAL MECHANICS
- The class will be divided into 4
groups.
- Each group will be assigned one
form of Literature during Philippine
Pre-colonial.
- Each group will be given 20 minutes
to prepare for the task.
A. Lights Camera Action (Proverbs)

Mechanics:
- The group will think of their own proverbs. ( Should be
written originally)
- They will write each proverb on a strip of paper then role
it and put it in the box.
- The proverbs that they have written down will acted upon
by each member of the group and they should make
sure that they’re classmates will guess correctly all the
proverbs in the list.
- If some members of the group failed to do the task they
will face a punishment.
B. Pass the message version 2.0
(Riddles)
- Each member of the group will think of a riddle.
- Then he/she will write it on a piece of paper. ( Note: The riddle written on the paper
should not include the answer instead just write the name of the student who wrote the riddle.)

- The members of the group will form a circle facing at the back of each other.
- The first person who will answer first, will read the riddle and after that
he/she will think of the answer then once decided with the answer he/she
will pass it next to him/her through the body language and then continue
passing it until it reaches the last person in the group. That student will say
the answer to the riddle.
- Each member of the group will have the chance to answer the riddle. (
follow the same procedure)
- If in case that there is a member who did not answer it correctly the group
will face a punishment.

A MUST note: Do not let your groupmates know your riddle. If it happens then
your group will receive deduction from your points.
C. Let’s sing a REMIX song ( Folksongs)
- The group will receive a copy of a modern song. ( the song
will be given by the teacher)
- The group will change its tune in a remix folksongs tune.
- The tunes that they will apply to the song are:
 Bahay Kubo
 Leron Leron Sinta
 Magtanim ay di Biro
- Now it’s your technique on which part of the song you
will apply each tune.
- Make sure that once you sing it in the class, the
folksongs tune will clearly be heard by each student in
the class.
D. Be the FILM DIRECTOR ( tales)

- The group will make their own


script about the origin of
something.
- Then they have to act it out.
- The play should only consume 5
minutes.

ancestors like in person who also has
superhuman capabilities
