Research Framework
Objectives of the Research
 Discern at which amount of percentage is the Tuba-tuba leaf
extract at the highest compatibility as wound-healing treatment;

 Identify at which amount of percentage of Tuba-tuba leaf extract

is the most effective in terms of rate of wound healing.

 Determine the efficiency of Tuba-tuba leaf extract ointment in

scarring prevention in comparison with commercial wound-
healing products.
Statement of the Problem
 Which percentage of the Tuba-tuba leaf extract is the most
effective in closing the wound?

 Which percentage of Tuba-tuba leaf extract is the most effective

in terms of rate of wound healing?

 How efficient is the Tuba-tuba leaf extract ointment in closing

wounds and preventing scar presence as compared to commercial
open wound ointment?
Hypothesis
All concentrations have equal effectiveness in closing the wound.

There is no significant difference between the rate of wound healing

among the three concentrations.

There is no significant difference between the effectiveness of Tuba-

tuba leaf ointment and the commercial open wound ointment for scar
prevention.
