Flood is an overflow of an expanse of water that

submerges land. Flood is one of natural disaster
generally happened in most of the world. It can be
destructive and harm to human life.

1. Floods can damage facilities and infrastructure, becauseflooding can
damage and even destroy houses, buildings, carsor public transport.
2. Floods can paralyze transportation routes. When the flooddisaster
comes a lot of crippled roads and can not bebypassed by all types of
vehicles, be it a car or motorcycle.Because the puddle is high enough to
make the motor or carunable to pass through the area and cause the
road isparalyzed and stuck totally. In addition to cars andmotorcycles,
rail traffic was hampered by flooding.
3. Floods can destroy and remove property, equipment, eventhehuman
soul. Many lost property when the floods came,and also lost a variety
of home appliances because of thefloods entering the house, especially
electronic objects. Themost valuable if this flood disaster to claim
casualties.
4. Flooding can cause power outages. If a flood disaster
strikes a place, then the place will be exposed to power
outages to prevent the occurrence of other disasters
such as electricity kornslet. In the absence of electricity
will make activity stalled.
6. Floods can pollute the surrounding environment. Flood
waterfloods can make the environment dirty due to
garbage that accumulate orgarbage that flooded by the
flood.
7. The flooding can cause erosion and landslides. The
more rains therain falls, the higher the flood water that
causes the soil and jalana erodedand can become
landslide
 CONCLUSION
Year to year, human always make development that
cover the soil without green places in any urban
areas. Human only want to get much adventages from
that without think about how the effect from their do.
Factory also has contribution in making flood.
Factory and human littering the river that obstruct
water circulation.
So, what we can do ? We must cooperate
with govermant in Increasing the green
areas, make laws of illegal logging and
changing people's behavior to not make
the river as a giant trash. Participation of
all elements of society must be organized
and coordinated in order to run
effectively. A community organization
should be formed to take early action and
organize public participation in flood
mitigation.
