 Geoffrey Chaucer was an
English poet and author.
 Widely considered the
greatest English poet of the
Middle Ages, he is best known
for The Canterbury Tales.
 Chaucer has been styled the
"Father of English literature"

buried in Poets' Corner of
Westminster Abbey.

married.
