• Deciding in advance what, when where and how to do a certain activity
• It is an intellectual process which needs a lot of thinking before a formation of plans.
• Planning is to set goals and to make certain guidelines achieve the goals

STRUCTURE:
• Type of business: SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP

• Mr Prateek Nagwani is the owner of the showroom

• There are two shifts morning and evening from 9am to 3pm and 3pm to 9pm respectively
STAFFING
• RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Employees are recruited through advertising in newspaper and distribution of pamphlet


• TRAINING:
The employees are trained by existing senior employees for 15-20 days
• STAFFING:
40 employees working in shifts
• EMPLOYEE RETENTION:
Bonus and incentives

• Daily sales record is to be submitted by each employees at the end of the day

• Employees are questioned if they do not achieve daily targets

• Corrective measures are suggested to improve the performance and bonus are paid if they

perform well to keep them motivated
