The Chemistry
Subject is Unique
Why is it unique?

 In Physic or Biology subjects, there are

topics which are not related. Students
learn each topics separately and there
is no relationship between them.
What about the topics in chemistry?

 There are closely related to each other.

 Ignore a topic may affect the learning of
other topics.
Chemistry as a Jigsaw Puzzle
 Every topic is a piece of jigsaw puzzle.
 Each piece on the right place will give the
clue for the next piece to fix in.
It means …
 When students learns a topic, they must able to
apply the knowledge in the following topics.
They must able to see the relationship between
them.

The Foundations of Chemistry
 Topics 2, 3,4 and 5 are the foundations of
Chemistry.
 It can be divided into TWO DOMAINS.

Of Atom Mole

The Periodic Chemical

Table Of Bonds Equations Formulae
Elements
How to help our students to master
the foundations?
Creating long-term memory
 Revise and repetition are essential
stages in creating long-term memory.
