Who is an

ACCUSED?
Who is a
CRIMINAL?
Accused - Is a person
who allegedly
committed a crime
and has been
charged with the
court of law.
Criminal - Is
person who
convicted by final
judgement of the
offense charged in
the court of law.
As I have said on the other
screen recorded video
entitled “Lagot ka kay fiscal"
that when the information is
filed in court, hindi na po
Respondent ang term na
itatawag but rather an
“ACCUSED".
While the case is
pending in court,
the offender will
be term as an
“ACCUSED" until
judgment.
At the time of the
promulgation of judgment,
the competent court
pronounced that the
accused is guilty beyond
reasonable doubt. Legally
speaking, the offender is
now called as “CRIMINAL".
“ACCUSED" ang tawag sa taong
pinagbintangan kung ang kaso
po ay nasa korte pa lamang
PERO kung ito po ay nahatulan
na ng gulty nang ating
hukuman at hindi ito nag
appela o hindi na pwede mag
appela. HE IS NOW A
CRIMINAL!

Five Pillars of the Philippine Criminal
Justice System

1. Law Enforcement: Suspect

2. Prosecution: Respondent
3. Court: Accused
4. Correction: Criminal/Convicted
offender/Sentence Prisoner
5. Community: Law-abiding citizen
Respondent - Is a
person who allegedly
committed a crime and
has been charged in
the Office of the
Prosecutor.
As I discussed in the other screen
recorded video entitled “Ikaw ang
suspect, lagot ka ngayon" that the
suspect is in the Law Enforcement
stage.
Investigator or Criminal Investigator
but with the assistance of the latter.
Ang Prosecutor po ay isang abogado at
ang kanyang tungkulin ay para
imbestigahan ang kaso kung may
basihan ba ang Complaint na nai-file sa
kanya (Prosecutor). E didismiss ng
Prosecutor ang kaso kung malaman niya
(Prosecutor) basi sa kanyang
imbestigasyon na wala palang basihan
ang Complaint na nai file sa kanya
(Prosecutor) PERO kung malaman niya
na meron pala po itong basihan, aga
agad mag-fafile siya (Prosecutor) laban
sa “RESPONDENT" ng information sa
Korte.
Kung ito po ay nasa Korte na,
hindi na po “RESPONDENT" ang
term na itatawag nito. Iba na po
ang term na gagamitin nito at
para malaman kung ano ito

SUSPECT - Is a person who
allegedly committed a
crime and under
investigation by the Police
or any Law Enforcement.
Ang SUSPECT po sa Philippine
Criminal Justice System ay
ang taong pinaghihinalaan or
pinagbibintangan na gumawa
or may partisipasyon sa
krimin'g nangyari.
Ang SUSPECT PO ay nasa Law
Enforcement stage pa lang (Police)
at nasa ilalim nang pagsisiyasat or
pag-iinbistiga para matukoy kung
meron ba siyang (Suspect)
kinalaman sa krimin'g nangyari, at
kung may basihan ba sa pag file ng
complaint laban sa kanya
(Susupect).
Ang isang individual ay matatawag
na natin na “SUSPECT” the
moment na pinagbintangan ang
tao na siya (Suspect) ang gumawa
or may partisipasyon siya sa
krimin, at naimbistigahan ng Police
Investigator or Criminal
Investigator in general until na
maisampa ang kaso sa Office of
the Prosecutor o sa Fiskalya.
Kung ito po ay nasa Office of
the Prosecutor o Fiskalya, hindi
na po Suspect ang term na
itatawag nito. Iba na po ang
term na gagamitin nito at para
malaman kung ano ito PLEASE
