improvement facilities and management system by using modern
technologies without compromising the natural environment.
Examples of plantation area of high technology is currently to be
realized through collaboration with agricultural institutions such as
MARDI, Kolej Pertanian Malaysia, Department of Veterinar Service
including UPM. Focus areas are horticulture and fish decoration.

3.5A PB 5 – MUKIM LANGGAR
i. Crops Activity Development Proposal
Paddy field located on SPB 5.4 proposed to be developed with
incentives to increase rice production. Usage of fine variety and
quality as MR220 will generate the highest returns compared to
traditional techniques. Expansion of adjacent area with the current
paddy crop is to create a broader paddy estates.

crops such as vegetables and kontan crops in SPB 5.4 (Kg. Tg
Medang and Kg. Sg. Sekor). Modern technology and the use of

Development of paddy fields will be expanded together with cattle
and duck livestock activity, which helps the development of the
paddy crop affected from pests. Animal Reserve Area was gazetted,

iii. Fishery Activity Development Proposal
Along Sg. Pahang in SPB 5.4, there are aquaculture activities, freshwater

of livestock are obtained through the Department of Fisheries or private
entrepreneurs. Partnerships between the two developers would save
costs and more effective monitoring can be implemented.
3.5B PB 6 – MUKIM GANCHONG

3.5B PB 9 – MUKIM LEPAR

palm trees. Growing areas of the industry will continue to be

ii. Livestock Activity Development proposal
Area of poultry meat Goldkist will continue to improve and enhanced
use of modern technology to help the growth of this sector to a more
favourable level. There are 2 areas for feedlot cattle and buffaloes in
one area (SPB 9.7) with the potential to be further enhanced. Opening

use of land should be implemented with the integration of livestock

iii. Fishery Activity Development Proposal
PB 9 Area is feasible to do freshwater aquaculture farms along Sg.
Pahang. Freshwater fish farming in BP 9 is only available in Kg. Bunut
and run by locals. The fisheries department will provide necessary
guidance and control of aquaculture activities so that there is no
environmental pollution in Sg. Pahang.
3.5B PB 10 – MUKIM PENYOR
i. Crops Activity Development Proposal
Area in PB 10 has an area of 29,471.75 hectares of agricultural land which
covers 43.00 percent of the total area of BP 10. Felda Chini is a major
agricultural land and land use will be enhanced by integrating Felda Chini
area with crops, livestock and aquaculture. Retention of food crops (in 10.8
SPB) will continue to be maintained and enhanced production through the
use of technology and quality seed selection. Irrigation systems and
infrastructure level are also given special emphasis. Mixed orchard area
available (at SPB 10.4, SPB 10.6 and SPB 10.7) will be developed with
integrated fruit crops and commercial crops like duku, dokong, durian,
banana, papaya, mango and lime. The use of technology and new
cultivation techniques will be used to increase agricultural production.
ii. Livestock Activity Development Proposal
Integration of livestock with crop commodities have been executed in the
FELDA Chini and will continue to be maintained and improved. While
rearing sheep and Kg Salong Penyo PPD will continue to be enhanced and
commercialized. Area animal reserves will be used for the implementation
of high-tech commercial farming.
iii. Fishery Activity Development Proposal
Aquaculture fishery activities (in SPB 10.10) (Tasik Chini) will run
commercially with freshwater fish. Among freshwater fish of choice is the
catfish, carp, krai, red tilapia and carp. Freshwater fish market to show an

3.5B PB 11 – MUKIM BEBAR
i. Crops Activity Development Proposal
Land area is 26.25 percent of agricultural and forest land is the largest
with 72.08 percent of the total area of ​PB 11. Palm oil is a major

proposed as the Aquaculture Industry Development State and the
activities carried out shall be in accordance with the guidelines by
the Department of Fisheries and the Department of Environment.
The collection centres and the marketing of aquaculture products
intended to support aquaculture activities in this area. Aquaculture
such as red tilapia fish, turtles, eels and lobsters have been
successfully implemented commercially in (SPB 11.3) by Song
Cheng Enterprise (M) Sdn. Bhd.
