• The “lens” we all wear

– We all see things through our own “Paradigms”, which are our own ways of thinking.
– We may not know the paradigm exists, like contact lens. We think what we see is objective. But it may not be.
– Two people can see the same thing, disagree and yet both be right.

There was a farmer in a village. One day he discovers that his goose
laid a golden egg in his courtyard. At first, he thinks it must be some
kind of trick and was about to throw the egg aside. On a whim, he
takes it to town to have it appraised.
The egg turns out to be real gold!! He’s rich! The farmer can’t believe
his fortune. He becomes even more incredulous the following day
when he saw another golden egg. And it continues–day after day!!
The goose lays one golden egg everyday.

But with his increasing wealth comes greed and
impatience. Unable to wait day after day for the
golden eggs, the farmer decides to kill the goose
and get all the egg at once. But when he opens the
goose, he finds it empty. There are no golden eggs -
and now there is no way to get anymore. The
farmer has destroyed the goose that produced them.
