is used in Q-connect business model? Why
does it appear to be so beneficial?
Selling of products prompting trial and not just advertising

• This made the business model attractive & meaningful to corporates seeking high ROI
• Brands got opportunity to not only do promotions but trials as well (whenever sales could
be made on the location)

Event based promotion in rural areas on a regular ongoing basis


• Beneficial because most of the other rural event based promotions were seasonal and
short lived
• Multi-dimensional reach as it was able to overcome the barriers of gender, caste/creed,
etc.
• Successful in avoiding any religious associations which in turn widens the type of products
that can be promoted via Q-connect
