 INTRODUCTION

 A web browser is a software application which enables a user to display

and interact with text, images, videos, music, and other information that
could be on a website. Text and images on a web page can contain
hyperlinks to other web pages at the same or different website. Web
browsers allow a user to quickly and easily access information provided
on many web pages at many websites by traversing these links. Web
browsers format HTML information for display so the appearance of a web
page many differ between browsers.

 A secure browser that protects your privacy is absolutely essential for

staying safe online and keeping your data secure from third parties.
 Unless properly configured, most browsers contain vast amounts of private
information that can potentially be exploited – or simply collected – by
third parties:
 Browsing history: all the websites you visit
 Login credentials: usernames and passwords
 Cookies and trackers: these are placed on your browser by the sites you
visit
 Autofill information: names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
 FUNCTION OF WEB BROWSER

 Web browser functions are to provide the resources or information to the

user when asked by them. It processes the user inputs in the form of URL
like http://www.google.com in the browser and allows the access to that
page. URL is used to identify the resources and fetch them from the server
and displays it to the client. It allows the user to interact with the web
pages and dynamic content like surveys, forms, etc. It also allows the user
to navigate through the complete web page and see its source code in
