WHAT IS SELECTION?
SELECTION
• Selection is also know as interview.

•After the recruitment, there are short listed ones and they
are the one invited to the interview.

ESSENCE OF INTERVIEW

•To verify if the applicants are stating the truth in the


application blank passed.

•Application blank is also known as Application form.

•The applicant needs to be at ease and friendly.


•The interview can be oral or written.
•The interview has a demonstration of practical
skills or knowledge depending on the job in
question.
•If the applicant has an interview he/she needs
to bring the original copy of their credentials.
•Bringing fake credentials is very suspicious.
•The interviewer takes consideration in the
statement of the applicant.
WHAT IS PLACEMENT?
PLACEMENT

Candidates assessed to meet the requirements


for the job are selected and placed on the job
they applied for.As much as possible the right
candidate should be picked so that placement
will not be a problem.In placement the
candidate or the new employee now is
matched against the job.It is assumed that the
job is going to perform,he possesses a flair for
it.That is,he
is naturally gifted to the task.You can not place
an engineer to do the work of an accountant.The
engineer may not have a flair for accounting and
as a result he may not perform.
