Coaching

Definition: Coach
A coach is a person who supports and
directs another person through asking
questions and providing motivation.

Definition: Coaching
Coaching is a tool to unlock people’s
potential to maximize their own
performance. (John Whitmore, 1992)

Executive Coaching

• Executive coaching is defined as helping


relationship between a manager and a consultant
to improve the effectiveness of the client’s
organization within a formally defined coaching
agreement(Killburg,1996)
• It is helpful for client to improve his/her
performance by achieving a mutually identified
set of goals.
• It is done by a wide variety of behavioural
tetechniques and methods.
