• There are many different areas in which an


individual can be classified as intelliegent.
• Each area has been studied heavily by brilliant
minds.
• Knowing about intelligence allows individuals
to have a better understanding of themselves.
Bodily Kinesthetic Intelligence

This type of intelligence is being


skilled in using your whole body
or various parts of the body in
the solution of problems or in
the construction of products.

1990 as an

LINGUISTIC INTELLIGENCE

• Linguistic intelligence is when an individual


has a high ability to use their language skills.
J.K. Rowling created Harry Potter, one of the
best selling books to ever be created. She
came up with the idea and wrote the entire
book on napkins in a star
LOGICAL MATHAMATICAL INTELLIGENCE
 

• People with logical mathematical intelligence


obtain great skills in problem solving and scientific
thinking.
• Sir Isaac Newton's contributions to the field of
mathematics are known to all. The three
laws of motion, gravitational attraction between
bodies, dispersion of light and Newton's rings are
just a few of his world famous theories. During this
time he solved problems on calculus with a
geometrical perspective.

SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE

• Skills involving spatial configuration, such as those used by artists and architects and
navigators.
• Christopher Columbus navigated his way from Spain to America in the year of
1492, only using his knowledge of the sea, since there was no great technology in
during this time.
Interpersonal Intelligence-Skills in interacting with
others and sensitivity to their moods.
• A good example of a person that obtains interpersonal intelligence is
Gandhi
• Gandhi was Indian freedom fighter, known universally as "the great
soul.”
Intrapersonal Intelligence-Knowlegde of internal
aspects of oneself.
• Aristotle is a great example of intrapersonal intelligence. He had a great
understanding of himself and once said:
• I have gained this by philosophy:  that I do without being commandedwhat
others do only from fear of the law.
Naturalistic Intelligence- Ability to identify and classify
things in nature
• Charles Darwin was a famous scientist who discovered many patterns in
nature and developed theories such as natural selection and survival of
the fittest that we use today.
