This document provides an overview of Ethiopian civil societies' participation in anti-corruption efforts. It discusses the mandate and functions of the directorate that coordinates with civil societies. Several civil society organizations are engaged in raising awareness, providing training, advocating for good governance, and participating in anti-corruption reviews and studies. While civil societies have helped make anti-corruption a public priority, challenges remain around limited resources and ensuring their independence. More financial support is needed to strengthen engagement with civil societies across Ethiopia's regions.
