 1. BACKGROUND
Field work practices are educational training, and learning
activities carried out in
the business world and in the industrial world in an effort to
encourage or enhance
students at VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS with student competencies
according to their
fields and also increase provisions for the future in order to find
work that can be sought in competition.

2. THE PURPOSE OF FIELD WORK PRACTICE

PT. ADEAKSA INDO JAYATAMA is located on the highway Housing
asik residence, Wangandowo, Bojong, Pekalongan. This company
began operating in January 2008 as a internet service provider, serving
the installation of cctv, computers, applications and programming and
installation of internet networks using the name WIN-NET CHAPTER 2
(PEKALONGAN) BAREKA.NET (PEMALANG) as the Brand Name (main

ACTIVITIES ON THE JOB TRAINING
Since field work practice in PT. Adeaksa Indo Jayatama for 3 months, I get a lot
of lessons and skills. We are taught how to install, repair troubleshooting
internet network and installation cctv.
SETTING ANTENNA POWERBEAM M5 AS ACCESS POINT
The steps in setting antenna as access point based on the results of the
practicing
follow:
1.) Connect your computer to the LAN AirMax adapter and the ubnt device to
the adapter to POE using a UTP cable. We first set the IP address of our
computer so that one subnet with the default IP address of the ubnt device. The
default IP ubnt is: 192.168.1.20
2.) Set the user's computer Ip. For example: 192.168.1.25
3.) To find out the Ip has been connected with ubnt or not, test ping default ubnt
ubnt. if you already reply, next to the next step.
4.) Open a web browser that you use often, then type in the URL
http://192.168.1.20, user: ubnt (default) and password: ubnt (default)

5.) Then enter the first airMAX Settings menu tab, check the airMAX section
then change
6.) Continue to the wireless tab menu, for settings please adjust the
following picture.

7.) Next we go to the Network settings for your radio's IP Address and match
your network's network, don't forget to Change
8.) Then we go to the Advanced menu for this section please match the settings
below:

9.) In the Service menu there are a few things to note, because there is an
SNMP setting which means that the traffic that runs on this device can be
recorded by the server, for the rest can be compared.

A. CONCLUSION
Through the practice of field work, students can gain
insight and skills as a provision to start the real world of
work. Students can learn the material obtained in schools in
accordance with what is in the world of work

B. SUGGESTIONS
At the end of this part of the work, I will present
suggestions, both for schools and for industry regarding the
implementation of Field Work Practices (PKL).
For industry:
1. It is hoped that cooperation between schools and industry

vocational students for fieldwork (PKL).

SUGGESTIONS
For Schools:
1. Monitoring of students who are working on the internship should be further improved to
ensure the workshop party on the internship program.
2. In the provision of physical or mental material to be further improved for the mental
development of students / students.
3. And also the teachers always provide motivation, guidance and relief for students who are
working.
