Objectives
• To create a “culture of tourism or public
awareness and better understanding and
appreciation of tourism as a means of
preserving desirable Filipino values, pride of
place and environmental/ecological balance,
more so as one means for economic
upliftment

potential tourist attractions, facilities,
landmarks and heritage sites
• To achieve and maintain high quality standards
and services in all tourist facilities and plants
• To develop a local tourism manpower that can
eventually help alleviate poverty through job
generation in the global tourism community

tourism marketing promotion program that
will bring in the targeted increase in tourist
arrival for Bacolod City
• To make tourism a dynamic tool to attract
investors to the City of Bacolod, subscribing to
the adage that “An investor is first and
foremost a tourist.”
Vision

The Bacolod City Tourism Office implements for


the city government a viable and sustainable
tourism industry program as a resource base
for economic and socio-cultural development,
ecological balance and preservation for an
acceptable quality of life for her citizenry
Mission
• ,the tourism industry of Bacolod shall
maximize its contribution to the vision of
Bacolod City as a model local government unit
that integrates the Bacolenos into the
mainstream of the country and, hopefully in
the global community for them to enjoy the
prime benefits of an inter-active =,sustainable
and dynamic activity brought about by the
tourist industry
