INTRODUCTION
• BLAZE
 BLAZE is a group of students from
Community College of Pekan (Kolej Komuniti
Pekan) who were hand-picked based on their
leadership traits, zeal and enthusiasm, risk-
taking willingness as well as having extensive
knowledge and experience in
entrepreneurship.

OBJECTIVE
• To provide values and skills that can be
practised continuously to ensure the
survivorship.

• “Social entrepreneurs are not content


just to give a fish or teach how to fish.
They will not rest until they have
revolutionized the fishing industry”

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
“PROJEK BAKTI KOMUNITI” –
ENTREPRENEURSHIP APPRENTICE
CHALLENGE 2017

 The focus of this program is to mould


the less fortunate RKK children into
entrepreneurship apprentices.
 To give motivation and form an identity
for the children of RKK to better
prepare themselves to survive in the
outside world.
 To provide the skills and training in
order to ensure these children are able
to continue their survival in the
CHARITY BODY

• The children of the welfare home of Rumah Kanak


Kanak Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom (RKK) have been
selected as the apprentices for this social
entrepreneurship program. There are about 150
children between the age of less than 1 year
(infants) to 17 years who are under the care of the
RKK. Ten children between the age of 16-17 are
selected as the apprentices of this
entrepreneurship program.
Statement of Problems
• The RKK children who are selected as the
apprentices for this program are aged
between 16 and 17 years.
• The children under the care of RKK are
between infants (age less than 1 year old)
to 17 years.
• Upon reaching the age of 18, the RKK
children are required to leave the welfare
home and to live on their own.
• The guardians (or also known as “Ibu”) of
RKK always worry about the survivorship of
these children on the outside world.
The Predicaments of the RKK
children
• Less exposure to the outside world.
• Low self-esteem.
• Unskilful in various fields.
• Lack of exposure to technology.
• Being left out in education.
• Not having family or kins nearby.

• Welfare Home (RKK)
 To increase self confidence of the RKK
children
 To provide added values and skills to the RKK

 To enable the survival of the RKK children
after leaving the welfare home
 To raise funds for the welfare home and for
the business capital for the RKK children

 To instil and nurture leadership qualities
 To increase self confidence
 To provide added values to group members in
the implementation of social and welfare
activities.

 To establish continuous collaboration with
welfare homes to contribute continuously.

 Increasing local economy by providing
business opportunities to its community.

CLOSING
As a result of this project initiative and systematic planning that has been
made, PROGRAM BAKTI KOMUNITI : CABARAN PERANTIS
USAHAWAN (PBK-CPU) will succeed and will give a high impact. With
reasonable budget estimates and achievable profits is high, it is a very
good program to continue in the future. We are very optimistic that our
entrepreneur's apprentices will become viable, safe and successful
entrepreneurs and continue to grow in the future. This not only helps them
but also carries the name RKK, Kolej Komuniti and also has a huge
impact on local economic growth.
