As a teacher are we the only
stakeholder in our students’ lives?
Who are all the people who we can
leverage to ensure that all our kids will
get an excellent education?

we need to
invest?

Parents
In your groups,
discuss…
How do you think each of these stakeholders will
play a critical role in reaching our vision?
Apart from the sheer number of hours our students
spend with their parents or families why else should
we invest families of our students?
• The parent just does not care!

• The child just goes home and plays. Does not care
about homework.

Agree or Disagree?
• What stood out to you about the
relationships that the teachers have built with
the families?

• What do you think are the outcomes for the

same?
