Mostly ONLINE but will also utilize the

• Direct messaging to agri-beat reporters and other
mainstream and local media practitioners

We are providing cash assistance to help the sector
cope with the effects of Covid-19.

• P5,000 for rice farmers tilling 1 hectare and below
• Must be listed in the Registry System for the Basic Sectors in
Agriculture
• Second tranche of the Rice Farmer’s Financial Assistance given to rice
farmers severely affected by the sudden drop of palay prices in 2019
• P3-billion total fund allocated under the GAA 2020

OTHER STRATEGIES
DA regional field offices, bureaus, attached agencies and
corporations shall proactively communicate the
issuances from the Central Office in their respective
areas.
The Office for Strategic Communications shall also work
with the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service
and the Field Operations Service to develop content for
publication and dissemination.

A virtual monitoring and evaluation system shall be


established to regularly update the Secretary on the
issues in the media and public sphere.
