Points to Remember
1. The latent phase is from 0-3 cm dilatation
2. The active phase is from 3-10 cm and
dilatation should be at the rate of at least 1
cm/hour
3. When labour progress well the dilatation should
not cross to the right of the alert line
4. Admit hospital in the active phase ploted on
the alert line
5. Labour goes from latent to active phase
transferred to the alert line
