​Recommended contents ​Management Tools

​The Application includes some places where the user can find
customized recommendations. In Go 4.0, the home includes the
following recommendations
1) Editor picks (VOD Contents, Live contents, Live channels, VOD
Channels, Subscriptions, banners)
2) Promotions (Subscriptions and banners)
3) Editorial recommendations of Thematic Areas (If the Thematic
Area is a SpecialChannel)
4) Editorial recommendations of L7D (when L7D are activated
and there is a SpecialChannel with this definition)
​The GVP platform sends the list of recommended contents
depending of device type and the type of user.
​This menu is only available if the user is logged in and includes
the following functionalities:
​• Parental control: enable/disable
​• Age rating settings: to change the rating level to which that
PIN applies.
​•Purchase PIN: to setup and change the required PIN for
purchasing
​• User Information:
​ Change Password
​ Change Credit Card (only logged user, when NOTEF user
with SIA enable)
​• Device Management: With this function, the user can unlink
devices from the service.
​• Notifications Management. To manage notifications for mobile
devices. (when this is configurated)
​• My subscriptions. (only logged user, when NOTEF user with
SIA enable) To cancel or purchase both or bottom up
subscriptions.

​Configuration
​The service includes some places where the OB can configure the application:
1. Instance Settings in GVP: there are some parameters with information about configuration in App. These parameters are
configured in MIB.
2. KeyValues in GVP: there are some parameter with information about configuration in App. These parameters are
configured in MIB
3. New file setup.json: (new in 4.1) This is a new file with some possibilities to configure the Application when the
application is installed yet. This file must exist always and its structure must not change (this is very important, it is not
OK the Application will fail)
4. Files in App (app.min, config…): These files are a part of aplication and only they can change if the development group
changes then in the generation or in a special action of maintenance. This file must exist always and its structure must
not change (this is very important, it is not OK the Application will fail)
