     Absent in Eyelids,External Ear ,Penis , Scortum

     Conatains : Muscle - Panniculos carnosus


    Vesseles , Nerves , Lymphatics
    Lymphnodes , Mammary gland

     Serves as a medium for passage of vesseles & nerves


     Conserves body heat
    DEEP FASCIA
     Fibrous sheet investing the body beneath the subcutaneous
    tissue -- inelastic , tough , devoid of fat.

     Limbs – tight sleeves , Neck - collar


     ill-defined in trunk & face
     Extension : Inter muscular septa
    Sheaths for Muscles , Vessels , Nerves

     Thickenings : Retinacula at wrist & ankle


    Palmar & Plantar aponeuroses

     Joints : Capsule , Synovial membrane , Bursae
