A telecommunications system is a
collection of nodes and links to enable
telecommunication. Telecommunication
is communication at a distance using
electrical signals or electromagnetic
waves.

broadcasting system, computer networks
and the Internet.

use to communicate with, such as a

transmission systems enabling information to

networks are based either on wired or

during the learning process.
2. It encourages more communication between
teachers and parents.
3. Technology allows us to give students access to data
from a single location.
4. It creates new ways to learn for today’s
student.
5. Technology in the classroom encourages
collaboration.
 
6. Teachers have more credibility when they use
technology in the classroom.
DISADVANTAGES OF
TECHNOLOGY IN
EDUCATION
1. The presence of technology can be
distracting to students.

2. Technology can make it easier


to cheat.

3. Using tech can cause some


students to disconnect from the
classroom.
4.Some students may not know the
difference between reliable and unreliable
resources.

5. Technology is a resource that not all


families can afford.

6. Technology can create dependencies for


information recall.
