Background ...
 Effective teachers willingly share emotions and
feelings as well as a sincere interest and care about
their students. Communication is also valued in
classrooms and feelings are openly expressed by
both the children and teachers.
 Just like Bhalla A, et.al. (2002) (Attitude of teachers

towards teaching) mentioned that teaching is an art

and the quality of teaching depends on the love,
dedication and devotion of the teacher towards the
subject of the knowledge.
Background ...
 The quality of any teaching programme
cannot rise above the quality of its
teachers. In medical colleges it is the
teacher who is responsible for influencing
a student's learning of the subject.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

 What kind of attitude of a teacher may affect the

performance of the learners?

What are the reactions of the students towards the
attitude of their teachers inside the class?

What is the impact of teacher's attitude towards
the performance of the students?
Results
From the result in Table 1, the highest weighted
mean is being approachable with 3.42 and it is
rated "Strongly Agree". While the lowest weighted
mean is being lazy with 2.06 and it is rated
"Disagree".
 From the result in Table 2, about the reactions of
the students towards the attitude of the
teachers. The highest weighted mean is motivated
with 3.28 and it is rated "Strongly Agree". While
the lowest weighted mean is discouraged with
2.44 and it is rated "Disagree".
 From the result in Table 3, about the
Impact of teacher's attitude towards the
performance of the students. The highest
weighted mean is helps to achieve your
goals with 3.38 and it is rated "Srrongly
Agree". While the lowest weighted mean is
discourage to participate in class with
2.14 and it is rated "Disagree".
Conclusion
 Therefore,majority of the respondents
agreed that the attitude that may affect the
performance of the students is being
approachable and it is highest weighted
mean. While the lowest is being lazy.
 On the other hand, the usually reactions of

the grade 12 students towards the attitude of

their teachers is motivated which has the
highest weighted mean.
 Meanwhile the lowest weighted mean is
discouraged. Based on the result, most of the
learners satisfied with the attitude of the
teachers.
 Most of the students answered it helps to
achieve your goals about the impact of
teacher’s attitude towards the performance of
the students which has also the highest
weighted mean. While the lowest weighted mean
is discourage to participate in class . As a result,
most of the teacher helps the students to
achieve their goals.
Recommendation
 The researcher suggest that, teacher should
be approachable at all times
 For the students, they should react

accordingly depending on the attitude of

their teachers.
 For the teachers, continue to help the

students and motivate them to pursue their

dreams.
