Ben’s father, Tem, has ten hens. Ben


feeds the ten hens every day. He sets
them free until ten in the morning. Ben
sees to it that the chickens are in the
coop before he leaves for
school.

“One, two, three, four, ve, six,
seven, eight, nine...” Ben counted
the hens. “Father,
Ren-Ren, the tenth hen is missing,”
Ben shouted. “No, Ben Ren-Ren is
in the pen. Go,
get Ren- Ren,” Father replied.
