When did Egypt become independent?
Egypt became an independent state on 28
February 1922. However, British influence in the
country remained very strong. Above all, Britain

them.

Wonders of the Ancient World; its
Great Library (the largest in the
ancient world); and the
Necropolis, one of the Seven
Wonders of the Middle Ages.
