• Decelerate the revolving speed from the motor in hydraulic system and
deliver them to the mixer drum.
• Control device Control device can control the rotation direction of cylinder
and the revolving speed.
• Mixing equipment It includes mixing cylinder and other auxiliary support
units. It is made of high quality wear resistant steel plate. To achieve
automatic concrete feeding and discharging, there are spiral blades with
special shape welded in the inner wall of mixer tank. When rotate, concrete
moves in the spiral direction of blades, under the continuous lifting and
turning, concrete mixture is mixed and stirred. In the process of feeding and
delivering, the mixer tank rotates clockwise, concrete moves in the
inner direction along the blades, when discharge materials, mixing
cylinder will rotate anticlockwise, and the concrete will be discharged
out along the blades. The rotation of cylinder is ensured by the hydraulic
driving device.
• Cleaning system Main effect of cleaning system is to clean the mixing
cylinder. Cleaning system can cool down the hydraulic system. Since
concrete will solidify, in the process of transportation, the mixer tank
should keep rotating, and after the concrete mixer agitator stop mixing,
there are still some residual concrete left on the tank wall, so it is
necessary to clean them.
• The truck is composed of PTO, front support bracket and rear support of mixer tank, reducer,
hydraulic system, mixer tank, water tank, control system, cleaning system, feeding system,
discharging system and so on.
• Among them, if the truck chassis has PTO, tank can get the power directly from truck, while if without
PTO, it is necessary to install a diesel engine to ensure the smooth rotation of concrete agitator truck.
• Mixer tank contains tank, feeding & discharge system, cleaning system, hydraulic system, and feeding
system includes feeding hopper, discharging system consists of discharging hopper, slip through, lifting
rotation system and discharge chutes.
• For hydraulic system, it is made up of hydraulic pump, hydraulic motor, gearbox and reducer. The purpose
of cleaning system is to clean the residual inside the wall and keep the normal running of the truck.

CONCRETE AGITATOR - WORKING PROCESS

• Feeding process  Drive the agitator truck to the construction site,

actually is the discharging outlet of the concrete batching plant,
and discharge the concrete mixture into the feeding inlet of the
mixer truck, then the concrete materials will enter into the mixer
tank through the conduit of the cylinder verge, and under the
guidance of spiral blades, concrete will flow into the lower
middle part of the cylinder.

• Mixing process  Take out the power from chassis through the
PTO, convey the power to hydraulic system, the power through
the small transmission shaft and reducer drives, hydraulic pump,
hydraulic motor and mixer tank to rotate.

• Cleaning process  Pressurizes the water tank through the air

cylinder of braking system, the water after pressurizing begins to
clean mixer tank system, feeding inlet, discharging system, etc.
The operation of water supply system
• Open the pressure switch of the water supply device;
• Close the air inlet cock of water supply device, open the air release valve,
connect the water tank with atmosphere and add the water to the water tank.
When use the water in pressure water tank, should close the air release
valve firstly, and then open the air supply. If the truck stops working in
winter, should clean out the residual water of water tank, pipeline and
hydraulic gun in case that the spare parts of water supply system will be
frozen and cause unnecessary losses.

Discharging process  When the concrete agitatorbegins to discharge concrete

mixture, engine convey the power to mixer tank through PTO, hydraulic pump
and reducer, drives thee tank body to rotate, the rotational speed is 3 to 14
revolutions per minute, concrete will move to the cylinder verge under the
pushing effect of spiral motion of blades, and be discharged from the discharge
hopper of the concrete agitator for sale.
