In this presentation we are going to discuss the Meaning of HRM (Human Resource
Management) and Nature of HRM, Scope of HRM, Importance of HRM, Principles of HRM and
Role of HRM. .

HRM (Human Resource Management) is an art of developing and maintaining component


workforce to achieve the goals of an organization in an effective and efficient way.

1. The Labour or Personnel Aspect : This is concerned with manpower planning,
recruitment, selection, placement, transfer, promotion, training and development etc.

and lunch rooms, housing, transport, medical assistance, education, health and safety
recreation facilities.

This is the main important responsibility of the HRM
team. THE HR Managers come u with plans and hiring the right person for right job at right
place. When they needed, they also provide the training facility to employees.
2. Performance appraisals : HRM team communicate with the staff individually from
time to time and provides all the necessary information regarding their performance and
also defines their respective rules.
3. Maintaining work atmosphere : It is an vital aspect of HRM because the
performance of an individual in an organization is largely driven by the work atmosphere or
work culture that prevails at the workplace. A good working condition in an organization is
one of the benefits that the employees can expect from an efficient HRM team. A safe, clean
and healthy environment can bring out the best in an employee as proved by hygiene theory
