 Bluejeans technical requirements

• Windows: Intel i3, i5, or i7 based PCs from a variety of manufacturers

Note: Quad core or greater is preferred. CPUs with low clock speed may
have lower video quality provided.
• RAM: Minimum 4GB. 8GB+ recommended
• Operating Systems such as Windows - 10 & 7 (with SP1+);MacOS - 10.11+;
Linux - RHEL v7.5, 7.6, 8.0; Fedora 28, 29, 30, CentOS 7, 8 and Ubuntu 18.04,
19.10

 STEP I. Invitation
You will receive an email invitation to join the lecture from the Software
Development Academy address to your email address.

You can see the blue button “Join Meeting” on the top of the email. On the day
when the class starts click the same button, so it will redirect you to the
Bluejeans Web page or App.*

For more effective class, please use Google Chrome or download the App for
Bluejeans on your desktop HERE

The link for your lectures in Bluejeans is always the same, you can easily find it in
your Information Package on the GitLab.

* If you have not been redirected to the Bluejeans platform automatically, you must enable the Adobe plugin. For
assurance trouble-free event, please use the latest versions of Google Chrome.

chat. The trainer will make your screen
available to help you dispel doubts and
help you solve the problem.

Remote control - If you’re lost in the

code, give your pc control to the trainer
and let him help you to find the mistake
while your screen sharing is on

 How to split monitor screen in two

Windows 7, 8, 10 - press the left mouse button and “grab” the window.
● Keep the mouse button depressed and drag the window all the way over to the RIGHT of your
screen. It will automatically resize to take up the RIGHT half of your screen.
● Now you should be able to see the other open window, behind the half window that’s to the
right.
● Take your cursor to the center (or so) of the topmost part of that open window.
● Depress the left mouse button to “grab” that window.
● Keep the mouse button depressed and drag the window all the way over to the LEFT of your
screen. It will automatically resize to take up the LEFT half of your screen.

macOS

● Hover your pointer over the full-screen button in the upper-left

corner of a window. Or click and hold the button.
● Choose ”Tile Window to Left of Screen” or ”Tile Window to Right of
Screen” from the menu. The window then fills that side of the screen.
● Click a window on the other side of the screen to begin using both
windows side by side.

Linux

All you have to do is to use the following key combination:

Ctrl+Super+left/right arrow key. For those who aren't aware,
Super key on the keyboard is usually the one that has
Microsoft Windows logo on it.

Students code together under the Trainer's supervision, in real time. This enables
the ongoing verification of work and learning how to write clean code.

LIVE TRAINING SESSION

As a part of a live training session a student starts to cover the material and
homework and at the same time has the ability to have ongoing consultations with
a Trainer

Individual work session is a time during which the student continues to work on
exercises individually (without a Trainer) in an online space provided by SDA (Open
Room)
