COMPANY BACKGROUND
• Jabatan Pengurusan Aset (JPA) formerly known as Unit Aset and
esthablished on January 2014 and this unit fully operated by Department of
Finance Unisel. After 2 years of operation under Finance Department, Unisel
management decided to make this unit as one of the department because of
the responsibilitiues and their operation become large with high demand of
its services by Unisel students, staffs and other customers from outside of
campus. In this case, in year 2016, this unit named as Jabatan Pengurusan
Harta Benda Unisel and Encik Mohd Khairi B. Hashim become the first
director in this department. After the one year of the operation in this name,
on 13th February 2017 after the Executive Meeting between directors and
management, this department newly named and officially launched as
Jabatan Pengurusan Aset and start its operations and services with four
others subordinate units which is Admin Units, Operation Units, Logistic Unit
and Enforcement Unit.

PROJECT REPORT
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Since starting of business 2014, this company never conduct the survey
for the employees.
• They know that employees are the most important resource for the
company improvement and they also understand that a satisfied worker
will assist in enhancing the productivity of company.
• But, this organization never conducts surveys to check employee’s
satisfaction. Hence, my research is needed to help the company to
determine the level of employee’s satisfaction.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
To study employee level of satisfaction towards monetary
and non- monetary compensation.
To identify employees level of satisfaction towards the
nature of their job
To explore employee’s level of satisfaction toward
workplace safety & health.
To examine employees level of satisfaction toward
workplace relationship.
SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDY
Use this satisfaction surveys to build a positive, productive
workforce by focusing on :
• Management development
• Team development
• training and career development programs
• benefits programs
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
• During these studies we have limitation in the form of time,
management
• I have face problem during conduct the survey with logistic and
operations unit.
• Depression occurred in myself while in the progress of this
research because a lot of unfamiliar elements should have to be
discovered.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Definition of employee satisfaction :
Employee satisfaction is the terminology
used to describe whether employees are
happy and contented and fulfilling their
desires and needs at work.
Many measures purpose that employee
satisfaction is a factor in employee
motivation, employee goal achievement, and
positive employee morale in the workplace.
• Employee satisfaction, while generally a positive in
your organization, can also be a downer if mediocre
employees stay because they are satisfied with your
work environment
• Factors contributing to employee satisfaction include
treating employees with respect, providing regular
employee recognition, empowering employees, offering
above industry-average benefits and compensation,
providing employee perks and company activities, and
positive management within a success framework of
goals, measurements, and expectations
