 Overview of Mobile IP

• Mobile IP is an Internet Engineering Task Force(IETF) standard communication

protocol that is designed to allow mobile device users to move from one network
to another while maintaining there permanent IP address.

• The goal of mobile IP is to enable packet transmission efficiently without any

packet loss and disruptions in the presence of host and or destination mobility.
