PURPOSE
• To study the case study of Malaysian population based
on Ministry of Health statistics to discuss the most
common diseases in Malaysia ,the types of infectious
diseases, the causes and how to treat them, predict
disease progression based on Ministry of Health
statistics graphs and proposed measures to resolve this
problem.

2)Leptospirosis
Causes:
~ caused by a bacterium called Leptospira interrogans.
Ways of dealing:
~ dry off the urine splash straight away (leptospires tend
to dry out easily), then wash the area.
~ wash out fresh or old cuts and grazes with water and
disinfectant, and dry well.
~ flush out your mouth and eyes, and any exposed skin,

with lots of running water.

3)Pandemic Disease:COVID-19
Causes:
~Data has shown that it spreads from person to person among those
in close contact (within about 6 feet, or 2 meters). The virus spreads by
respiratory droplets released when someone with the virus coughs,
sneezes or talks.
Ways of dealing:
~Avoid large events and mass gatherings.
Avoid close contact (within about 6 feet, or 2 meters) with anyone who
is sick or has symptoms.
~Keep distance between yourself and others if COVID-19 is spreading
in your community, especially if you have a higher risk of serious
illness.
