Definición: Expresa hábitos y rutinas, hechos generales, acciones repetidas o situaciones,
emociones y deseos permanentes:

Ejemplo:

 He smokes (hábito); I work in London (permanencia).

 Para dar instrucciones o indicaciones:


She walks to work every day, then you turn left.

 Para hablar de eventos programados, presentes o futuros:


Your exam starts at 09.00.

1) When verbs end in “SS”, “SH”, “CH”, “X” and “O” ADD "ES“
(Cuando los verbos terminan en “SS”, “SH”, “CH”, “X” y “O” AÑADIR “ES”)

 He finishes his job for the afternoon.

 She teaches at the theater school.

 The mother kisses her child to say goodbye.

2) WHEN YOU SEE THE VERB TO BE AS A POSSIBLE ANSWER (AM, IS, ARE) THEY

Recuerda:
 Los pronombres que no están en tercera persona en singular, sus verbos se
escriben igual.
 El verbo TO BE se conjuga sin cambio alguno cuando está como posible
respuesta.
 Have se convierte en has si está en tercera persona en singular.
