Section of solids: Plan, elevation and views on
Unit I: sections of simple solids like prisms, pyramids, cones
and cylinders. True shape of sections, sections of
simple engineering structures.
Perspective views of simple objects: Single point
Unit II and two point methods as well as direct method.

Unit V Development of surfaces: Development of plane and
curved surfaces in combination with the sections of
solids and interpenetration of solids- Development of
transition pieces.
Nomograms: Basic principles of drawing nomograms for
