  The KPI improved after new GSM FP implementation (17th and 18th November 2010 WK1046), on
the other hand the external interference increased one week later from 30th till today, degrading
KPI in VI specially the UL Quality

 Most all GSM cells in VI affected by the external interference: LAG025, LAG054, LAG055, LAG110,
LAG129, LAG212, LAG402, LAG505 and LAG944.

  Frequency Scan has been done on Victoria Island using spectrum analyzer, the signal broadcasted is not constant

 UL band : 900.2 MHz to 904.8 MHz

 Also the external interference affects the entire GSM band

Conclusion

From 18th (AFP implementation) till 30 of November the KPIs improved on UL

and DL quality despite the reduction of the BCCH number, the degradation
appeared with presence of the external interference.

This degradation was mainly observed in the UL, the DL still ok

Unfortunately this external interference affects the entire GSM band,

changing of BCCH frequencies will not resolve this issue.

A complaint should be sent to NCC to localize the interfered source and

resolve the problem definitively
