HISTORY OF BSNL
• BSNL formed in october 2000 is world ‘s largest seventh
largest telecom company.

• With in a span of five year it has become one of largest


public sector in INDIA.

• Earlier it was part of P&D,but in 1975 the DOT was


separated.

• National plan target of 5oo million subscriber base for the
country by December 2010.

LIMITATIONS
 Problem in collection of detailed
information as the company
personnel does not have a clear
idea of its own techniques.
 Company is not willing to disclose
all the information regarding their
programs.
SUGGESTIONS
 In order to make hr dept. more effective bsnl
must use some advance technologies,still
now work is done in bsnl in traditional way.

 They should hire some young age person for


improving the efficiency ,,,,,,most of the
employee in bsnl is age of 35 to 50

 4.Working time should be maintain,proper


investigation should be there if any of the
employee does not follow the provission

 It is the first company to provides its
services to remote areas of the country.
 It still leads in terms of landline.
 Overstaffing in bsnl has been a major
problem decreasing its efficiency
