• The Corporate Retreat Professionals (CRP) is


an event planning company specializing in
corporate customers.  CRP will offer two types
of services, retreat training services as well as
product launch event planning.  The retreat
training services will be either leadership
development training or teaming skills
training.  For both types of retreats, CRP can
take care of the planning of the event.
Reason to choose
• The corporate market for event planning is steady and
profitable.  For some large companies, economic downturns
mean cuts in training. This is, however, only the case for
shortsighted companies. 
• The benchmark companies may trim down the workforce
during a downturn, but they do not cut funds for training. 
They recognize that investing in human resources is always a

• CRP will be an Indian corporation. It will be in


the form of company and there are total 5
promoters for this company. After completion
of this business plan and when company will
in be in existence all the 5 promoters will also
be the shareholders of the company called
CRP.
H.R. AND OPERATIONAL PLAN
Staffing:

• As we are going to run our business in event management industry,


so we need to hire employees for different jobs. This industry had a
great scope and can be moved to further details but every company
had different scope depending upon its services.
• Event Operation Manager:
• The job description of this particular post is to
• Direct and coordinate staff activities
• Ensure proper branding, execution and coordination processes
followed as per guidelines.
• Handling the budgets of events
• Coordinating all legal permission for events
• Collecting the daily feedback reports of members.
Marketing manager:

• As we have already had our marketing


manager named Prashant Priyadarshini,
he will manage all the tasks of this post
like:
• To promote the training programs with
the help of his team
• To coordinate activities in marketing

• To look after the administrative functions
• Under Mr.prashant, there will be further requirement of
employees for the post of:
• Asst. marketing manager:
• This person is going to implement all the ideas and look after
the plan decided by marketing manager. Further he has to:
• Assist with budget management
• Coordinate activities in timely availability of resources.
• Provide analytical support in the development of marketing
strategy and plans.
• Be accountable for delivery of company strategies, risk
selection and establishing and maintaining customer
relationship in area.
Event coordinator:

• The job of event coordinator is to:


• Preparing event proposal
• Meeting with clients
• Coordinating with suppliers and clients
• Managing with the dates of events
• Choosing the staff for event
• Besides employees for marketing, we need people for
accounts department and for that Mr. Harinder and Ms.
Harpreet will work in finance department. They will
manage all the balance sheets, cash flows, income and
expenditure etc.
• Human resource department which manage the human
capital i.e. salaries, absenteeism etc. This all will be
managed by Mr. Rubal and Ms.Pallavi.
• At last for operation department, we will make contacts
with labour contractors who will provide us the labour in
need and contract will be on commission basis. This
department will be handled by Mr. Harinder and Mr.Rubal
Event Management – Eligibility

• One does not need to have a certified qualification. 


• Some institutes are offering specialized diplomas.
• One of the most renowned institutes is National
Institute of Event Management (NIEM).
• One must have an MBA degree along with good public
relations. Having a degree in public relations along
with masters in marketing is an added advantage.
• The course by NIEM was started with an aim to:
• Produce trained and qualified workforce for events
• Create a new class of Event Managers, Co-ordinators,
Consultants etc.
• To bring India on higher footing in Events industry.

• Our company will provide training to our employees and for this we
will have time to time programs which will train the employees for:

• Innovative ideas for events

• Multi tasking
• The training for above skills will be provided by both:
• On-the-job method: - like making them work in actual events,
preparing budget for events etc.
• Off-the-job method: - classroom teaching, situational method.
Wages and Salaries:

• The wages and salary of the employees will be decided on basis


of average salary provided by other companies in this industry.
• As we are new company so for the start we will provide 12,000- 
15,000/-p.m. depending upon their job description and for lower
level like office boys’ salary will range from 5000-  7000/-p.m. The
increment of the salary of the employees will also be there after
six months and the percentage of it will be decided later on.
• The cost charged by our company for the event will depend upon
the money expenditure power of the companies and minimum
cost for events is going to be 1,00,000. We are not going to
entertain anyone below this range.
Policies and Procedures
Health and safety standards of CRP:-
Under Labor Jurisdiction in India sudden Under the Constitution of India, Labor is a subject in
the Concurrent List where both the Central & State Governments are competent to enact
legislation subject to certain matters being reserved for the Centre:-

The CRP will follow all the rules and a regulation which is being implemented by the
government and CRP will provide all the benefits to their employ in terms of:-

1. Life insurance benefits by general insurance policy for all the employees in the office.
2. The provident fund which is currently running according to the labor laws in India will be
properly given to the employees of CRP.
3. The medical cost will be reimbursed by the medical policy under the mediclaim policy
under the life insurance company.
4.In any kind of accident happen to the employ of crp in working mode ,or in office or in duty
of company the company will be responsible for reimburse all the charges and their all
medical expenses of the employ and provide the other necessary facility.
5. According to the current pay commission or the compensation policy of the
government of India the CRP also set the salary and moves according to the
government norms and conditions.

6. for the women’s the compensation and tax benefits will be different as per laws.

These are some policy which is being adopted by the central government which is
considered by the CRP:-
Entry No.23: Social Security and insurance, employment and unemployment.
Entry No. 24: Welfare of labor including conditions of work, provident funds,
employers 'invalidity and old age pension and maternity benefit.

Privacy Issues
Employee Surveillance:-the employees should use the internet of company for the official
purpose and do not upload transfer the office data to any other company or person and do
not copy the official data on any soft data medium like pen drive all the employee of crp will
be continuously under monitor and misuse of company name or property will be taken as
offence against the company protocols and the crp will take the appropriate action against
the subject employee.
Personal Appearance:-
The personal appearance of the employ should be well maintained in the office hours and
as wells in the meeting hours neatness and cleanness should be there in dress code which
is being assigned while in the job hours.

Off-And in Duty Behavior:-


The employee should behave in a good manner while in the office and out of the office
because there any kind of misbehave with any one will be embarrass the company and
decrease the goodwill of the company. and these things will be not considered and
company will take the correct action regarding the employ.
 
Drug and Alcohol:-
If any of the employee will found drunk while working hours of the company that mistake
of that employee will be not being tolerated by the company. And the proper action will be
taken by the CRP upper level authority.
Handling of employee grievances:-
If employee have any problem regarding their jobs, holiday leave, or any
accommodation facility etc. Than the employee can straight away talk to their upper
level HR division which is being handled by Rubal sachdeva and Pallavi Malik.
Employee handbook
At the time of joining the company CRP the employee of the company will be
provided the employee hand book which cover all the rules and regulations of the
company, and the proper code of conduct of the company, use of company
property, confidentiality, dress code, attendance, safety, and accident rules,
smoking, additional policies, Payroll ,Work Hours and Reporting, Holidays, Vacation,
Sick Leave, Family and Medical Leave are included in the hand book .so that
employee of the CRP should carefully read the employee handbook so that
company can run smooth.
Employee working hours:-
According to the Indian labor law the salary is based on the monthly basis which is
being based on Indian contract working hours and safety standards.
And here are some of the subtopics which are to be considered by Crp :-
Breaks and Meal Periods :- 20 to 30 minutes
Flexible Schedules : 9 am to 5.40 pm
Full-time Employment:-job is full time employment or part time employment.
Holidays: -
those who take less holiday will be awarded with the extra bonus including the basic
salary.

Job sharing:-Is depending upon situation to situation if somebody is interested they


can share the job and can work in behalf of their friend according the mutual
understanding.

Night Work and Shift Work and Overtime:-the extra bonus will be given for off hours
of job assigned by the company and cab facility will be provided by the CRP Company
to their employees those who come in the radius of 20 km.
 
Sick Leave :-according to the employee condition the sick leave should be given to the
employee
 
Vacation Leave:-2weeks in a year, as well the national holiday excluded.
Recordkeeping and Reporting
 
The CRP will make all the employee record in individual employee files in the
company computer which is connected to company virtual server which all data is
recorded.

All the department records according to their department assigned will use the
centralize virtual server of 10GB to upload and download the data of office work.
All the department record will be transferred to top department heads through
centralize networking system.

The company will use the open office software applications which are open source
so that office expenses should be minimized.

going to deliver the services to our customers.

showing what we and our employees are
doing on daily basis.

capital at the starting of business.

• CRP’s business operations decision will be taken at its head
office in Chandigarh. Our basic operations strategy would be
after getting an order via telephone or via e-mail. We will be
focusing on that event and also the 50% of the amount for
event will be collected immediately before the event so as to
meet all the expenses.
 
• The field work and site inspection will be done by Operations
manager i.e. Rubal and Harinder. And accordingly the setup
for event and plan for that will be done.

will require more labour so our labour requirement will be fulfilled by
labour contractors.

case because the third party only does event planning so they
can plan and host the event more efficiently.

away from their daily job and invest time in this infrequent
