Royal Enfield ndia was setup in 1995

Received 350cc bikes in kits from United Kingdom and were assembled in the
Chennai plant.
Eventually they started manufacturing the bike themselves.
The 500cc segment came into existence.
Classic Bikes with power for leisure riding is what a
Royal Enfield bike stands for, and Royal Enfield leads
this segment of the market in ndia by leaps and
bounds. ts exquisite range of motorcycles combines
distinctive styles with power, riding comfort and
ruggedness to deliver a unique motorcycling

The Eicher Chapter.
1990: RoyaI EnfieId entered into a strategic aIIiance with the Eicher Group.
1994: RoyaI EnfieId , merged with the Eicher Motors
COMPANY PROFILE & HISTORY
One of the premier bikes manufactures of the world.
1891, Albert Edie & R W Smith launched a bicycle manufacturing company called
as "The Edie Manufacturing Company Ltd..
Soon after, Edie celebrated his contract of supplying rifle parts to the Royal Small
Arms Factory by calling the first new design as 'THE ENFELD'.
Then that Enfield design was marketed by a newly formed company -'The Enfield
Manufacturing Company Ltd'.
1893, the word 'ROYAL' was added to it and so this is how the ROYAL ENFELD
came into existence.
SOME MPORTANT DATES.
1909: Royal Enfield launched its 1st bike and that bike was supplied to the British
War Department during the FRST WORLD WAR.
1931: Company came up with a 4 valve single cylinder bike and it was named as
'BULLET'.
1949: 350cc was launched in ndia when Madras (Chennai) Motors won an order
from the ndian Army for the supply of bikes.
1955: ndian Army insisted to keep up the brilliant work of the RE and thus RE was
established into ndia.
1993: Eicher Group acquired Enfield ndia Company and changed its name to the
'ROYAL ENFELD MOTORS'.

ROYAL ENFELD BULLET ELECTRA 5S
Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 5S is the new version of Bullet Electra. t is equipped with
a host of cutting edge features.
Bullet Electra 5S is equipped with single cylinder 4-stoke 350 cc engine that delivers
a peak power of 18 bhp @ 5000 rpm a maximum torque of 32 Nm @ 3000 rpm.
