This unit was established in 18th December 1971 at Rajkot.The founder of this unit is Mr.HarilalJechandDoshi.

The companies producing steel products have increased to large extent at developing stage.

They have developed about 100 different types of products.

It has 80 major customers like Railways, Defense, ONGC refinery, and petrochemicals, Tata Moter, Mahindra & Mahindra etc.

Since last 32 years, ECHJAY INDUSTRY has become large manufacturers of steel forging and achieved a wide market.

FINDINGS
Most of job of this organization are skilled full so most of worker are skilled in own work. 90% workers are feeling personal accomplishment with own work. More than 50% workers are agree with voice in major decision regarding changing in the work. More than 25% worker said that management is flexible and understanding the importance of balancing of work and personal life 24% workers are agreeing with the job challenging.

Suggestion
The company should try to maximise the relation with the current working employees.

Give more decision power to workers in their own work so they can do their work quickly.

Training and development are too good in this organization so maintain this level properly for a proper work.

Management tries for the understanding of work and personal life of the workers.

Learning from project.


In summer training I have learnt many aspects like how to handle the workforce. How to interact with workers and colleagues. How to plan about anything, management of production procedure. How to work in production department.
