MESSAGE

I was crowned as Mrs. US-Ilocandia in the year 2005 and that

initiated my involvement with this very respectable organization,
being an active member at first, then a member of the Board of
Directors. Now, as I step up as the new executive Vice President, it
is indeed a great honor and pride. Somehow there seems to be a
mandate in my heart, that no matter what or how, I find myself
always effectively supporting and assisting our club to the best of
my potentials and capabilities. This organization had proven its
values through several successful completed projects in our
Ilocandia provinces. It’s been such an inspiration to be a part of
US-ILOCANDIA organization. Our relentless efforts along with our
devotion and profound hopes have enabled us to achieve our
goals. Together, I believe we can reach out to our needy provinces
and people.

With those words quoted above I can say that you can take me out
from Ilocandia but you cannot take the Ilocano in me.

Dios ti angina kanya tayo am-amin.

Sincerely,

(Sgd.) Mrs. Shirley Jean Soriano

I am honored and privileged to greet you on the 10th Inaugural Dinner

Ball in conjunction with induction of officers for the year 2008-2010.

As I congratulate the elected officers, let me also remind the newly elected
officers that the U. S. INA has existed for almost two decades now because
we had sustained our unity with the strength and fortitude that we have
always demonstrated in times of great challenges. I will fervently pray that
we will continue to be united and strong and also pray that our new
officers will exercise the power bestowed upon them wisely, fairly and
lovingly.

As we install our new set of officers for the year 2008-2010,

I urge you my fellow Ilocanos (FBI) to strengthen our unity so that this will
forge us ahead to face the more enormous challenges of the new
administration. We have to keep the intensity, integrity, sincerity and
perseverance that our predecessors had demonstrated for us.

In the meantime, Let us enjoy the night!

The Scholarship Committee
welcomes you to our 9th induction
of officers and dinner/dance.  We
are proud and privileged to have
you join us on this special occasion.
Eighteen years ago, in 1990, the
US-INA was organized to
encourage, unite and light the path
of the Ilocanos as they journey
along life's highway.
As one of its objectives, the
Association set aside a scholarship
fund to help US-INA youth pursue a
college education and obtain a
degree which will benefit him/her
and their community. We would like
to encourage and urge any bona
fide member, who has either a
son/daughter, grandchild, great
grandchild, niece/nephew or grand
niece/nephew who will be
graduating from high school in
June, 2009, to contact one of the
members of the committee.
