LITERATURE REVIEW
McCloskey and McCain, 1987, job satisfaction describes the feelings, attitudes or preferences of individuals regarding work Vroom,1964,in need/value fullfillment theory, states that job satisfaction is negatively related to the discrepancy between individual needs and the extent to which the job supplies these needs.

Porter and Lawler (1968) collect the influences on job satisfaction in two groups of internal and external satisfactory factors

Findings
Employees are not completely satisfied with their job although their salary is good enough. Employees are not getting value to their work.

Most of employees think that they are not on their actual path.

Most of the employees think that the organization havent fulfill their promises , what they do in beginning especially regarding Promotion They often feel overworked.

Limitations

Short time period: The time period for carrying out the research was short as a result of which many facts have been left unexplored. Lack of resources: Lack of time and other resources as it was not possible to conduct survey at large level. Small no. of respondents: Only 40 employees have been chosen which is a small number, to represent whole of the population Unwillingness of respondents: While collection of the data many employees were unwilling to fill the questionnaire. Respondents were having a feeling of wastage of time for them. Small area for research: The area for study was Chennai, which is sufficient to judge job satisfaction level.

Implication
Ideal employees should concentrate on their job Company should give promotion to that employee who deserves it

Incentive and reward should include not only the employee but also their family like health plan for family etc Flexible in timing so that workers wont get frustrated if there is any valuable reason for late, it should be like workers has to work for 8 hours a days but the timing should be flexible.

Employees should be complimented then and there. Managers should not wait for particular time to give compliments Transfer should give to employees if there is any opening in their native place. Performance appraisal should take every three months so that they can rectify their errors and feel satisfied instead of telling at the end of the year.

conclusion
Most of employees think that they are not on their actual path. From the analysis it is concluded that very small number of employees are not satisfied with the payment and remaining all are satisfied. It is concluded that 53% of employees in the organization is undergoing stress.
