One day battle between Dal Khalsa and Ahmed Shah Abdali on 5th Feb, 1762 The entire Dal Khalsa fought on three fronts An estimated 30,000 - 50,000 Sikhs killed in one day. (approx. half of the Sikh population) Three months later in May, Sikhs defeat Abdalis governor at Sirhind and Abdali himself at Amritsar in October, the same year.
