By 2020 India would account for 25% of global workforce. Total Indian population at present constitute 35% of global. Indias goal to achieve 30% of 240 million school children to higher education which is 12.4%. Infrastructure required for this goal is too huge for any nation to undertake. Its an emergency on a global level and thus forms a global issue.

High infant mortality rate and low fertility rate

Infant mortality rate of India is still far more than any other developed as well as developing nations. Fertility rate of women has gone low as compared to situation in 1960s when each woman used to have minimum of 6 to 7 children on an average. This has endangered the demographic dividend of India as it would reduce the future work force.

Current position of women in India has improved a lot. Women in the work force. Sent to schools & colleges. ISB along with GoldMann Sachs providing certificate courses to women entrepreneurs.

Development of women always leads to development of whole society as she is kept one Women in some states of India are still the aloof who nurtures the family through her knowledge. from development. In Bihar, U.P, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand etc. women are still harassed. Not sent to study or allowed to run any business or own a profession except house wife.
