Weaknesses
Language is seen as a collection of isolated words Bad effect of this method is on pupil's motivation Students cannot master all of four skills of English (listening, speaking) Teachers knowledge might be lost into in oblivion

Application
Problems: + listening, speaking and pronunciation => bad + unnatural production + Boredom

Reasons: + Students L1 preference + Preparation for lessons => easier than other method + Low knowledge of teachers (in rural areas) + Time management in the class + Lack of equipment for teaching and learning

Solutions: + inductive GT + teaching collocations instead of isolated words + integration with other methods + creating interesting activities to motivate students + well- trained teachers
