Karl Rapp Founder of BMW AG

BMW Headquarters in Munich, Germany.

The company with its base in Munich, the capital of Bavaria was from the start tightly connected with the Bavarian region. In year 1913, Karl Rapp founded a company named Rapp Motorenwerke. The main engineer of the company was Austrian engineer Franz-Josef Popp. In year 1916 BMW formed under name Bayerische Flugzeug-Werke (BFW) - Bavarian Aircraft Works.
The next year, the company was enjoying a rapid growth caused by the World War I effort, but Karl Rapp resigned from the company. As a result, the company was renamed to BMW GmbH (Ltd.).

BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke / Bavarian Motor Works) was established in 1922 as a public company (AG/Inc.). BMW AG began producing different types of engines and wide variety of products. The first motorcycle was produced in 1923 and car production began in 1929. In year 1947 after world war II the BMW produced its first post-war motorcycle R24. It was a huge success not only in Germany, but until 1950 BMW began exporting 18% of its production.

DIFFERENT LOGOS OF BMW IN DIFFERENT YEARS

The fuel pump issue is on the rise and it has been reported among drivers with 1-series, 3-series, 5-series, x3, x5 and x6 vehicles. The BMW S 1000 model bike was facing from the throttle before few months.
The E36, E39 and E38 models of BMW cars were facing a problem of crankshaft position sensor failing.

BMW is working hard to come up with a fix to the problem, however that has not prevented consumers from having to return to the shop countless times to address the situation. The company has extended the warranty on the part to 10 years/120,000 miles, but there are instances where the service adviser is blaming the problem on "bad gas", which we do not feel is a suitable explanation. The motorrad team swapped the ECU, the injectors and the throttle bodies at the BMW S 1000 RR in order to sole the problem on 25th September at 4:45 am.

The listed models were replaced with a new sensor and the old sensor were sent back to the Warranty Parts Return Centre with a copy of any of the DME fault codes if they were present.
